beritajejaring.co.id. - Millions of followers of the Islamic leader in Iraq, Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr, took to the streets to demonstrate in Karbala Province, Central Iraq, Friday (28/7/2023) local time.
This action by millions of Iraqi Muslims was carried out in response to calls to support the Koran and condemn the violations against the sanctity of Muslims by Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr.
The international representative of the Press Union of the Republic of Indonesia, Hussein Almslmawi, reported from Iraq that this demonstration was unique in the Islamic world. The Qur'an is the book of Allah Ta'ala and the role model for every Muslim in the world, not only for Iraqi Muslims.
He also reported that the Sadr leader's call to support the Koran, for the demonstrators is an honorable and proud position for every Muslim. In essence, every human being has the right to maintain his chastity, this right is the absolute right of the rulers of heaven and earth.
Demonstrations by millions of followers of leader Sadr from all provinces in Iraq. Interestingly, even though the temperature reached approximately 50 degrees Celsius, the crowds were increasing from various parts of Iraq.
The purpose of this action is the same, namely to express condemnation of the shameful and immoral acts permitted by Western governments under the pretext of freedom of opinion and expression.
